Product Description

• Fluffy dog always encounter collars where the design is hardly visible under their thick fur coat. With a Fat 25mm width, name prints and designs on this collar will definitely be more prominent under all the fluff.
• We feel that a fatter collar will look especially good on dog breeds with long and slim necks, such as Singapore Special, Dachshund and Poodle.
• In terms of safety, when a dog pulls on the leash while wearing a wider collar, the pressure is dispersed across a wider surface area and helps larger dogs withstand the pressure being inflicted as compared with a slimmer collar. With a fatter dog collar can protect the pup’s neck from straining on the leash which may lead to neck injuries and long-term tracheal damage.
• Keep it light – is key consideration in this collar design blueprint. As the name of the collar suggest, we just want to design a light and comfortable collar for our pup to call their own to love wrapping around their delicate neck in by not adding unnecessary weight. This explains why for hardware option, we have chosen to use a 16mm Belt Buckle instead of a 25mm Belt Buckle.

The durability and practicality of this collection is superb. There is practically nothing the waterproof webbing can't stand up to. Simply functional, durable, stylish, comfortable and reliable.

Sizing

• For short-fur breed (eg: beagle, frenchie), leave room for your pinkie finger between the tape and your pup’s neck.
• For fluffy dogs (eg: pomsky, sheltie), should be measured against their skin to get the best fit. (measure without finger gap) This is your pup’s neck size in cm. Note this measurement in cm down.
• IMPORTANT: Do not measure your existing collars for sizing.

• Holes are 1.5cm apart
• Measured correctly, the collar will fit in between the 1st hole (tightest) to 3rd hole (middle), depending how tight or loose you would like the collar to normally sit on your pet's neck.
• If there is no space constraints, extra holes are available upon request.

Name personalisation on smaller collar:
Please note that due to space constraint, long names especially on a smaller/shorter collar (23cm - 27cm) , we will make the font size & icons. Only proceed if you can accept this. By default, all personalised name height on will be will be 15mm or above.

Note: The correct measurement of the neck is of great importance. The neck circumference determined by you is the decisive value for us. For example, if your dog has fluffy coat or a particularly small / large head; you prefer the collar as close to the neck as possible or particularly loosely, etc. this is all information that you should be happy to share with us. You can write these and other special features and comments in the comment field at the end of the order so that the customized product corresponds exactly to your wishes.

Materials

• Made with 25mm and 16mm width standard Beta BioThane® with a break strength of about 454kg and 280kg respectively.
• 100% waterproof
• Will not stretch, super durable and abrasion resistant.
• Winterproof and holds its flexibility in very cold weather. Will not crack in in freezing temperature.
• Moldproof, cleanable, stinkproof and hygienic
• Low maintenance - easy to clean and disinfect, does not require typical leather care
• Under normal use, BioThane® will last a very long time

• Highly durable, brass will hold up to the challenge when used on products that are meant to carry weight. Meaning you can count on your brass hardware to last
• Will not rust, resistant to corrosion. Making this the best and strongest metal for use in salt water
• Compared to Zinc alloy, Brass is a stretchier, more malleable metal, making it much more resistant to cracking under pressure and, once again, contributing to its long lasting nature.
• Brass will naturally tarnish (this is not rust) overtime when exposed to elements like air and water, but this does not affect the strength and durability of the metal

Quick-release Buckle:
Our Quick-release Buckles are made of zinc alloy composes of pin & spring and are high quality buckles, highly polishes, designed for safety. It is extremely important to ensure that both sides of the buckle prongs are clicked into place and fastened tight. Always check by tugging on the collar to ensure is secure before heading for your walkie adventure. In case of a faulty buckle, we will replace the buckle for you with no additional cost. Please note that our Quick-release buckles are not suitable if your pup is a heavy puller or fearful with high bolting risk. Overtime due to wear & tear, the shiny coated layer of colour might be damaged and scratched exposing the underneath zinc alloy metal. As zinc is reactive to saltwater and will degrade the strength integrity of the buckle, it is best to avoid seawater if buckle show signs of scratches.

Our products are made for walking and managing domestic dogs and are sturdy and perfect for everyday use. As our materials are not indestructible, it will be consumer responsibility to inspect and check your pet collar or leash before each use for signs of wear and tear. All items are handmade, best efforts will be made to ensure consistency, there may be slight differences in lengths, colours & printing of name personalization. No two leashes or collars or harnesses will be identical.

• A slight sheen may be present on certain areas of the strap surface after name personalization. This is more noticeable on darker straps (such as Black, Navy Blue, Mocha, Forest Green) than lighter straps.
• Please be more gentle when cleaning the Name personalization area. Do not scrub or rub vigorously. Doing so may cause the name print to peel off. To clean off the dirt, gently rinse over water and rub gently with your finger.
